INTRODUCTION
This course is divided into three modules.  Each module is terminal in nature.  The course is aimed at providing the trainees with knowledge, skills and attitudes which will enable them perform systems analysis, systems design, software development tasks and administrative duties.


COURSE OBJECTIVES AND OUTLINE
1.To develop skills which will be responsive and relevant to the country’s manpower required at the   middle level.
2.To prepare the trainee so that they can enter the world of work with confidence for either salaried employment or self employment.
3.To impart adequate skills which will enable the trainee to perform systems analysis & design, software development tasks and administrative duties.

The course is in three modules.  These are offered on a full time and part time basis.

COURSE DURATION
The Diploma Course has a duration of two years including attachment.


INTAKES
Intakes are in January, May and September.


ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Trainees entering this course should have any of the 
following minimum requirements:

(a) Completion and pass in a relevant Craft course.
(b) K.C.S.E with a mean grade C-(Minus), or
(c) KCE Division II
(b) Any other approved equivalent qualification.
